ALASKA MALOSSOL
Category: | SALMON CAVIAR |
---|
This red caviar is made from the roe of high-quality wild pink salmon from Kamchatka. Kamchatka is a Pacific peninsula covering 270 km², which has preserved its unique nature and ecology due to the absence of industrial development. Wild-caught pink salmon is unique in that, in the open sea, it feeds exclusively on plankton, small fish, crabs, shrimp, mussels, and other crustaceans. This means its diet contains no artificial additives, hormones, or antibiotics, which are often present in farmed fish. Only in Kamchatka, for about three weeks a year – roughly from mid-July to early August – is the most delicious and unique salmon caviar harvested in terms of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Kamchatka red salmon caviar (Gorbusha) is distinguished by its bright orange color, pleasant marine aroma, dense texture, and richer taste compared to pink salmon caviar sourced from Alaska. Only in Kamchatka are fish caught 400 meters from the shore, and the live fish are processed directly in coastal factories, ensuring the freshest fish and the highest-quality caviar.
Kamchatka red salmon caviar not only boasts exceptional taste but is also a source of iodine, calcium, iron, potassium, fluorine, phosphorus, chromium, essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as B, A, D, and E vitamins and other valuable nutrients and minerals.
